The Challenge

For more than thirty years, I worked as a hairstylist and before that I tended bar for fifteen years. These careers brought joy and connection, but they also left me in chronic pain. In 2008 I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and four herniated discs. The doctor told me I had the spine of an eighty-year-old.

The pain was constant and, like so many other people, I turned to opiates, muscle relaxers, and ibuprofen just to get through the day. Over time I became dependent on these medications and my quality of life continued to decline. I no longer recognized the person in the mirror.

That is when my healing journey began. Determined to find a natural alternative, I discovered the potential of plant-based compounds and plant extracts. I studied the science, learned about cultivation, and experimented with extractions. Through years of trial and error I developed my own crafted tinctures and topicals that finally gave me the relief I had been searching for.

The transformation was life changing. I was able to slowly step away from pharmaceuticals and regain control of my health. With that new freedom, I made it my mission to share this form of care with others who are suffering.
